With the introduction of the new Udyam Registration process, many entrepreneurs are eager to register their businesses under this simplified system. Even existing MSME holders are now looking to migrate to the new Udyam platform for continued access to government benefits.
However, a large number of business owners are still unaware of how to correctly fill out the Udyam Registration Form and are actively seeking guidance or support.
In this guide, we will walk you through the complete step-by-step process to fill the Udyam Registration Form through our portal. But before diving into the form details, let’s quickly understand what Udyam Registration is and why it’s important for your business.
Udyam Registration is the latest mechanism introduced by the Government of India on 1st July 2020 for the registration of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). It replaces the earlier system known as Udyog Aadhar or MSME Registration and offers a much simpler and more transparent process.
Under the Udyam system, entrepreneurs can easily register their businesses online using just their Aadhar number, making the process quick and paperless.
For all existing businesses registered under Udyog Aadhar/MSME, it has been made mandatory to re-register under the new Udyam Registration system before 31st March 2021. Failure to do so may result in suspension of the old registration and loss of access to government benefits.
